May, 1811 ~ Raid on settlements near Kaskaskia killing livestock and stealing 40 horses
June 2, 1811 ~ Ellijah Cox murder & kidnapping of his sister ~ Bond Co.
June 20, 1811 ~ Price murder in an area that is now part of Alton ~ Madison Co.
June 20, 1811 ~ Ferry on Mississippi was attacked and one Indian brave was killed
Dec. 1811 ~ two American workers killed at the Spanish lead mine near Galena & all the Americans killed at Nathan Pryor's home nearby.
February 1812 ~ An Indian pushed a hole in the wall of Hill's Fort and injured 1 man - Bond Co.
Early March 1812 ~ A Mr. Barbara was killed at Tom Jordan's Fort.
Mar. 12, 1812 ~ Andrew Moore & son Massacre ~ Jeffferson Co.
Apr. 1812 ~ Harriman Family massacred on Embarass River
Apr. 1812 ~ Hinton Family killed on Driftwood Fork of White River
Apr. 6, 1812 ~ Jean Baptiste Cardin and Liberty White murders, 4 miles from Fort Dearborn on south branch of Chicago River ~ Cook Co.
Apr. 9, 1812 ~ Hutson Family Massacre ~ Crawford Co.
June 18, 1812 ~ War declared on Great Britain
July 1812 ~ Three settlers killed in Southern Illinois
Aug. 15, 1812 ~ 12 Militia settlers who were fortified in the Agency House near Fort Dearborn were killed ~ Cook Co.
Oct. 1812 ~ John Pond's wife & son killed, second son scalped (survived) at Pond Settlement in Indian Creek Township near New Haven
Feb 9, 1813 ~ The Squire Clark and Kennedy families were massacred at the mouth of the Cache River on the Ohio River, located 7 miles above the Mississippi River junction. 5 killed & two kidnapped.
1812 ~ One man murdered north of White River across from Mount Carman ~ White Co.
Mar. 1813 ~ Francis Young killed near John Hill's Ferry and blockhouse in Carlyle ~ Clinton Co.
