MARSEILLES, Illinois - Spc. Carlye Clehouse, of Elburn, Illinois, a Combat Medic Specialist with the 708th Medical Detachment based in North Riverside, Illinois, won Best Soldier at the Illinois Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition at the Marseilles Training Center, Marseilles, Illinois, July 9-12. Clehouse is the first woman to win the Illinois competition and moves on to represent the state at the regional Best Warrior competition held Aug. 20-23.
