Springfield Air National Guard Security Forces Airmen Deploy

SPRINGFIELD – Approximately 25 Airmen with the 183rd Fighter Wing’s Security Forces Squadron in Springfield deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Feb. 20.

Security Forces personnel specialize in weapons handling, aircraft security, base perimeter security, Prisoner of War handling and convoy security.
