Joining the warrant officer aviation program means you'll be controlling some of the most advanced aircraft in the sky. National Guard aviators are among the best in the world. You will have the skills and ability to change the outcome of disastrous scenarios where failure is not an option. A normal day for our aviators could consist of successfully delivering troops to hot zones, performing search and rescue missions, responding to natural disasters or delivering lifesaving goods to a community in need.
For your convenience, click here for the Predetermination Packet for Aviation Warrant Officer Candidate Program. This packet will assist you in gathering all the information required as outlined below.
The basic prerequisites are:
  • Age: Not have reached your 29th birthday (waivers considered to 33)
  • A General Technical Aptitude Area (GT) score of 110 or higher on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) or Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT)
  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Be a High School Graduate or GED holder
  • Be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance
  • Be able to pass the 3-event Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT)
  • Be able to pass a Chapter 1A flight physical examination
  • Must have a minimum score of 90 on the Alternate Flight Aptitude Selection Test (AFAST)
