Information

The Army requires the initiation of separation proceedings against any Soldier who has tested positive for an illicit drug.  However, this does not mean that the Soldier  will, in fact, be separated.

Positive urinalysis may range from prescribed medications that have expired, to those indicating cocaine or marijuana abuse.  Marijuana synthetics are banned by the military.  Any Soldier  who tests positive for an illicit substance will be required to undergo an alcohol and drug evaluation.  You should speak to TDS immediately upon being advised of a positive urinalysis result, to best evaluate your options.
