Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program
"There is no greater threat to the integrity of the U.S. military - including the Illinois National Guard - than the perceived inability to root out and eliminate predatory individuals hiding in our ranks committing Sexual Assault."
                                                                                                                                                                                               BG Krumrei
The sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program is available for Air and Army National Guard Service Members and their families. The SAPR Program reinforces the National Guard's commitment to eliminate incidents of sexual assault through a comprehensive policy that centers on sexual assault awareness, prevention, and education training. Treatment, reporting options, advocacy and for victims, as well as full accountability and penalties for Service Members who commit these crimes.
Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs) are certified subject matter experts who protect information and maintain confidentiality. SARCs make certain that victims are treated with dignity and respect, assist with the identification of resources, and ensure that victims receive appropriate advocacy and support.
