Welcome to the Illinois Military Academy located in Illinois' Capitol, Springfield.  State-of-the-art, modern and efficient, this 133,000 square foot self-contained training support center provides for all of your instructional needs.  Capabilities include ample classroom and conference space, in-house cafeteria dining, and lodging. The IMA is the proud home of the 129th Regimental Training Institute, focusing on ILARNG training. The 1st Battalion conducts transportation training. The 2nd Battalion provides leadership training for current and future army leaders.  BNCOC, MOSQ, and the second phase of Officer Candidate School are some of the training conducted here. Directions to Camp Lincoln: Whether coming from the north or south, take exit 98 West off I-55 onto Highway 97.  From the east (I-72) just cross I-55 and it turns into Highway 97. After 4 miles, turn right (North) onto N. MacArthur Blvd. Turn left into the gate.  After going thru the gate continue straight and the road will turn to the left. At the stop sign, the IMA building is the building straight ahead on the right. Note: Camp Lincoln is just two miles from the Springfield Airport.
