SPRINGFIELD, Illinois - Col. Rodney Boyd receives the Legion of Merit Nov. 4, 2017 during 108th Sustainment Brigade Change of Command at the General Jones Armory in Chicago. Boyd, of Naperville, has been selected as the next general officer in the Illinois Army National Guard. Boyd was appointed as the Assistant Chief of Staff, Joint Logistics (Wartime) for U.S. Forces Korea effective immediately and will be promoted to brigadier general.
