Rock Island Arsenal, Ill. - Master Sgt. Jennifer Dorsey receives the Meritorious Service Medal for her actions while deployed during a combined welcome home and mobilization ceremony, Aug. 4, in Heritage Hall on Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois. The Illinois National Guard's 6th Battalion, 54th Security Force Assistance Brigade welcomed home the approximately 20-Soldier Battalion Advisor Team 660 from Romania and the five-Soldier Logistics Advisor Team 6622 from the Philippines. Both teams returned earlier this year from 6-month deployments. The battalion also mobilized the 5-Soldier Logistics Advisor Team 6620 for a six-month deployment to Africa. The battalion will have Soldiers who have served on three separate continents this year: Europe, Asia, and Africa.
