CHICAGO - Rosemarie Dillon, of Batavia, the 89-year-old niece and primary next of kin of Illinois Army National Guard Pfc. Harry Jerele, touches his flag draped casket after it arrives at O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, Oct. 1. Jerele was a World War II Prisoner of War who died in captivity in 1943. DPAA announced in December his remains had been identified. Jerele will be laid to rest at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood Oct. 4 with full military honors.
