The Retired Soldier Council is an Army National Guard Chief of Staff-led program designed to provide advice and recommendations regarding the concerns of retired Soldiers, surviving spouses, and their families. The council’s purpose is to improve communication and support between the ILARNG and its retired community.
The council is comprised of retired members of the Illinois Army National Guard, volunteering to serve our retirees by publishing a bi-annual newsletter. This newsletter provides information on upcoming ILARNG events as well as updates on retirement services and benefits. For more information regarding the Retired Soldier Council or to volunteer to become a member, please send us an email by clicking here.

Additional retirement resources can be found on the Illinois Retired Soldiers webpage.
