SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - A living historian with the Illinois State Military Museum makes his way through the trenches and "gas" during the Great War Encampment 2018 Nov. 10, in Springfield, Illinois. Living historians from across the state gathered at the Illinois State Military Museum in Springfield, Illinois, to commemorate the 100th anniversary World War I during the Great War Encampment 2018.
