SPRINGFIELD, Illinois - Eight Illinois Army National Guard Soldiers graduated from the ILARNG Officer Candidate School during a ceremony Aug. 23 at the Illinois Military Academy, Camp Lincoln, Springfield, Illinois. Six Soldiers were commissioned as second lieutenants with two additional Soldiers choosing to hip-pocket their commissions until an Active Guard and Reserve officer position is available.
