SPRINGFIELD, Illinois - Maj. Gen. Rich Neely, the Adjutant General of Illinois and Commander of the Illinois National Guard, passes the noncommissioned officer sword to Command Sgt. Maj. Kehinde Salami, of Homewood, Illinois, during the change of responsibility ceremony Sept. 8 at the Illinois Military Academy, Camp Lincoln, Springfield, Illinois. The passing of the sword from Neely to Salami signified Salami’s assumption of the responsibility and authority as the Illinois National Guard Command Senior Enlisted Leader.
