Springfield, Ill. - Maj. Kevin Spears hugs family and friends after arriving at Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield, Illinois Nov. 21. Approximately 150 Soldiers from the 34th Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade, based in Chicago, landed in the Windy City Nov. 21, arriving home just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Approximately 300 Soldiers from the 34th IDSB and the 433rd Signal Company spent much of 2024 on a deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. (U.S. Army photo by 2nd Lt.
