OAK BROOK, Illinois - Lt. Col. Shawn Robertson of the 34th Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade stands in formation in front of family and friends. The unit came together for a proper welcome home after 11 long months away from their friends and families. The 34th Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade Headquarters Company and the 433rd Signal Company deployed to Kuwait in January 2024. Select individuals of the 433rd Signal Company were awarded 5 Army Commendation Medals, 28 Army Achievement Medals, 3 Certificates of Achievement, 6 Norwegian Ruck March Bronze Medals, and 1 Norwegian Ruck March Silver Medal. The 433rd Signal Company also had 19 Soldiers promoted during their deployment. The 34th Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade Headquarters Company Soldiers also received several awards in Kuwait. Select Soldiers were awarded 18 Meritorious Service Medals, 95 Army Commendation Medals, and 102 Army Achievement Medals. The Headquarters Company had 44 Soldiers promoted. 32 Noncommissioned Officers and 23 Officer promotions took place.
