EGYPT - Lt. Gen. Patrick D. Frank, the Commander of U.S. Army Central and Third Army, talks with Illinois Army National Guard Soldiers Sgt. Gavin Hunt of Peoria, Ill., and Spc. Jane Huguelet of Tinley Park, Ill. on Sept. 8. Hunt and Huguelet both speak fluent Arabic and served as interpreters for the Higher Command (HICON) during the Command Post Exercise (CPX) of Bright Star 25 at Mohamed Naguib Military Base, Egypt. During the CPX, American Soldiers work side-by-side with Egyptian Soldiers to train different staff sections from both nations. Bright Star 25 brings together forces from across the globe, underscoring the United States' enduring commitment to working alongside Egypt and partner nations to strengthen collective security and promote regional stability.
